Man Faces Charges After Incident in Cold Lake Walmart Parking Lot

A fight in the Cold Lake Walmart parking lot has led to local police nabbing a suspect wanted on a slew of other charges.

Police in Cold Lake got a call about the altercation around 9:30 PM on the 24th. According to the complainant, a truck started to follow him after the parking lot dispute and rear ended him, causing him to jump the curb. The complainant knew who the driver was, which made things easier for police.

The 20-year-old suspect from the Cold Lake First Nations was eventually arrested by Bonnyville RCMP, who booked him on a long list of other charges. He has been taken into custody and denied bail. The suspect has been charged with thirty two offences in total and will appear in Bonnyville Provincial court over CCTV on October 3rd.
