Cold Lake RCMP Looking For Man Hit by Car

The Cold Lake RCMP are looking for a man that was hit by a car, then left the scene at the beginning of this month.

The pedestrian in question was hit on 50th avenue and 50th street on September 1st. Witnesses say he landed on the hood, had a few choice words for the driver, then walked away.

While it might be great for the pedestrian that he appears to not have been badly injured, continuing on with his day has created an issue for the Cold Lake RCMP. Without any pedestrian around to make a formal complaint when they showed up, they couldn’t issue any tickets. Police recommend that you stay at the scene of a car on pedestrian accident regardless of how bad or not bad the injuries are.

If you were the pedestrian or have some information on the incident, call the Cold Lake detachment at 780-594-3302.
