Glendon All Candidate Forum October 12th

The six candidates running for Glendon’s three council positions will be at the Senior’s Hall on October 12th for a Candidate forum hosted by the local Business Alliance.

Laura Papirny, Nancy Pelletier, Rick Stieben, Dallas Fewchuk, Scott Lundgren andAndrea Wolosiewicz will all be present to field any questions attendees might have for them. Doors open at 6:30 with the forum starting at 7 o’clock sharp.

“It’s actually pretty exciting this year,” says organizer Julie Kissel. “It’s been awhile since we’ve had as many people become candidates as we have. It’s kind of exciting to see in Glendon that people are taking this much interest.

“[The candidates] think there’s going to be a lot of community interest to see what everybody has to offer.”

Even if you’re not a municipal politics buff, there will be donuts and coffee served as well that might pique your interest.
