67-Year-Old Dies in Car Accident West of St. Paul

A 67-Year-Old Lac Sante man has died after a two vehicle accident on Highway 29 and Range Road 102 Wednesday morning.

An SUV was travelling eastbound on Highway 29 just west of St. Paul when it hit a westbound car head on.

The 29-year-old male driver of the SUV from Vilna suffered serious non-life threatening injuries and was transported by EMS to a local Hospital and then via STARS to an Edmonton Hospital.

Tragically, the 67-year-old in the car was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. St. Paul RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance.
