Suspect Wanted in Andrew Carjacking

RCMP are looking for a suspect and stolen vehicle after a carjacking in Andrew Saturday evening before 7.

A male pulled into a driveway with a car and asked for help. The suspect then threatened a victim and advised them he had a gun. The victim provided keys to a separate vehicle parked in the driveway and the suspect fled the residence and proceeded eastbound on Highway 29.

Two Hills RCMP with assistance of Vegreville and St. Paul detachments made extensive patrols in the area but the suspect and vehicle were not located.

The car the suspect was initially driving was reported stolen from Edmonton. The picture of the suspect and vehicle is from a gas station in Mundare prior to the incident

The suspect male is described as:

· Aboriginal
· 20-30 years old
· 6’0” – 6’3” height
· Short dark hair
· Black shirt
· Blue jeans

The stolen vehicle is described as:

· Black Dodge Caravan
· Alberta license plate# BBB3862
