Arrest Made in November Saddle Lake Hit and Run

St. Paul RCMP have made an arrest in the hit and run death of a Saddle Lake man last November.

The 44-year-old, also from Saddle Lake has been taken into custody and is appearing in St. Paul Provincial Court Today.

The incident occurred on November 26th of last year. A witness that was on scene assisting the victim reported that a white Ford F-150 hit him while he was lying in the middle of the road. The truck also hit a vehicle nearby and then fled the scene. The truck was later recovered in Saddle Lake.

As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be provided.
