Toy Car Show Coming Back to Bonnyville For Third Year

Although A&W holds vintage car shows to raise money for the MS Society at locations all across Canada every summer, Bonnyville’s location has a unique twist.

In addition the vintage cars on display this Thursday, The Bonnyville A&W will also be holding its third annual model toy car show as well. The companion show was the idea of local boy Griffin Purdy, whose father has MS. The whole family is heavily involved with the MS Society of Canada year-round. It’s one dollar per car to enter, with a maximum of five per person. Any type of toy car is allowed, from a hot wheels you got earlier that week to one you made out of Lego to the cub car you won the rally with last year. The show runs from 5 to 8 and there will be prizes given out.

The two show are part of A&W’s Burgers to Beat MS campaign, where one dollar from every burger sold will be donated to the MS Society of Canada.
