Investigation Into Sunlife Fire Concluded

The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority has wrapped up their investigation of the Sunlife Financial Fire last week, but say there’s not a lot of to conclude.

Officials say they haven’t been able to determine what exactly started the fire, but were able to pinpoint where it started to a small service room in the apartment attached to the office.

The building that served as the Sunlife Financial Office started going up in smoke around 10 in the morning on August 8th. The fire burned off large chunks of the main building’s roof and completely destroyed the building at the back, which had to be bulldozed.
