Lac La Biche Fire Rescue is rotating out four of their crew members deployed in BC with fresh blood.
A crew of six local firefighters was deployed tout west last week and has been fighting wildfires in Cache Creek, west of Kamloops. They’ll have their work cut out for them when they get there. A change in weather conditions this week means the situation will likely get worse. It’s estimated that 19,000 still can’t return to their homes after being evacuated.
