Volunteers Needed to Help Install Beaver Deceivers on Muriel Lake

The Muriel Lake Basin Management Society is looking for volunteers to help them install beaver deceivers on August 11th and 12th.

The plan is to prefab the cages on Friday and install Saturday. The bulk of the work is Saturday. The Society will also need help transporting the pipe and cages to the lake and are hoping someone has a trailer. The professional crew will also need to park their trailer overnight and are hoping someone has a flat spot of land to offer.

If you are interested please contact them through their Facebook page “Save Muriel Lake” or email them at [email protected]
