Lac La Biche County says their contractor is a bit behind schedule in paving the Lakeview Estates subdivision.
The work was supposed to be finished by July 17th but bad weather got in the way and pushed the date back nearly a month to August 15th. In an effort to speed up this process, the contractor (Allied Paving) may use concrete powder to strengthen and dry the existing base.
Locals may find themselves having to take detours from both Lakeview Drive and Birch Street at times, but the company says both roads will never be closed at the same time.
