Heat Warning Issued for Lakeland

The Lakeland is now facing a heat warning this week.

Environment Canada released the warning saying temperatures reaching near 29 degrees are expected from Wednesday to Friday. The agency has a few nuggets of wisdom to make sure everyone stays safe as well. Consider moving outdoor activities to cooler hours of the day, drink lots of water, take breaks from the heat and of course, don’t leave any people or pets in a car with the windows rolled up for more than a few minutes.
