Mallaig Museum Still Has Canada 150 on the Brain

July 1st has come and gone, but the Mallaig museum isn’t letting that stop them from celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday some more.

The museum is looking for local artists who might be willing to donate some works for a period of time. The museum is putting on an “art mosaic” displaying local talent for Canada’s 150th.

“We are hoping to show how proud we are of our local artists for making things look beautiful,” the museum said in a Facebook post looking for artists to step up.

The Museum is also planning to host a Canada 150 celebration on August 13th from noon to three. Guests will get to enjoy a wiener roast, cupcakes, and juice.
