Six Lac La Biche Firefighters Off to BC

Six Lac La Biche fire fighters are going west to help fight wildfires burning up BC.

Garrett Feledichuk, Mustafa Ibrahim, Brad Semeniuk, Jayden Ludington, Laura Pereira and Naomi Nicholson are all heading out from the local fire department. Wildfires in BC have so far displaced over 45,000 people and scorched more than 3,200 square kilometres of land. Premier John Horgan has had to extend the province’s state of emergency for another two weeks as the situation shows no signs of calming down.
