The installation of water and sewer services in Phase one of Mission Beach Subdivision will go ahead. To help cover the costs of building infrastructure in that area, a local improvement levy was proposed and Lac La Biche County says they did not receive any valid petitions against it.
Administration has recommended the contract be awarded to Razor Earthworks for nearly $1.3 million dollar. The budget for the project was $1.7 million.
A portion of the costs will be made back through the levy. The end date for the project has been extended to October of this year.
