Town and MD of Bonnyville Pass IDP

The town and MD of Bonnyville have worked out an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) to determine how land around their shared borders will be used.

The necessary bylaws were passed at a joint Council meeting held July 4th. The IDP was prepared for the MD and the Town by Stantec Consulting. Work on the IDP began last September. The joint Council meeting was started with a Public Hearing for affected residents to speak for or against the plan. Council members answered questions and addressed concerns from the small gathering of residents before giving the bylaws second and third reading.

The final copy of the Bonnyville IDP is available online here.
