With wildfires wreaking havoc all over BC, 4 Wing Cold Lake is sending some support.
The military base will be sending a search and rescue crew and two Griffon helicopters out west to help combat the blazes. How long they’ll be there largely depends on whether or not any emergencies pop up in Cold Lake.
Over 200 fires have been reported around the province and nearly ten thousand people have had to evacuate their homes.
