Lac La Biche RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Sonny Giant in relation to several break and enters and thefts that have occurred in the county between June 25th and July 4th.
Giant is facing 13 criminal code charges including Robbery with a firearm, Break and Enter, Uttering Threats, Possession of Stolen Property and several firearms offences.
Sonny Giant is described as:
· Aboriginal
· 5’8”
· 181 lbs
· Black hair
· Brown eyes
Giant also goes by the name of Sonny Cardinal, and is known to frequent St.Paul, Saddle Lake, Goodfish Lake, Lac La Biche and the surrounding areas.
RCMP investigation is ongoing in relation to several similar reports, and further charges are pending.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Sonny Giant. Police would like to remind everyone not to approach Sonny as he is considered armed and dangerous.
