7-Year-Old Lloydminster Boy Dies After Being Hit by Truck

A seven year old boy was fatally struck by a vehicle in Lloydminster Tuesday evening.

RCMP say at around 8:30 they responded to a collision between a red Toyota Tacoma and the child at the intersection of 57 Avenue and 31 Street, near Rendell Park School.
The family of the child has been notified and the driver of the truck is being interviewed by police. A RCMP collision re-constructionist is on scene working with the members of the Lloydminster RCMP to determine the cause and factors in this collision.
The RCMP is asking for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Constable Jennings of the Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400.
