The Royal Canadian Air force is planning several flybys for Canada Day, and Cold Lake will be one of them.
The RCAF says the flybys will be carried out by aircraft from RCAF Wings throughout Canada, and will be done at various times throughout the day.
They say the planes will fly no lower than 500 feet above the highest obstacle in their path. They say the flybys are carefully planned and controlled to ensure public safety.
