Cold Lake Man Arrested in Liquor Store Robbery

A Cold lake man is facing charges after robbing a Sobeys Liquor Store in Cold Lake

RCMP say the suspect entered the store on Wednesday, pulled out a knife and uttered death threats to anyone who followed him out of the store while he stole a bottle of liquor. Cold Lake RCMP identified and arrested a 34 year old man who has been charged with the following offences:

· Robbery with an Offensive Weapon.
· Uttering Threats x 2.
· Possession of a Weapon for Committing an Offence.
· Theft Under $5000.00.

The suspect also had outstanding warrants which were executed at the time of his arrest.
