Northern Lights Public Schools has provided some updates on the Modernization of Bonnyville Centralized High School approved earlier this year.
The modernization will include the construction of a new two-station gymnasium, two new classrooms, a black box for drama/band, and upgrades to the learning commons and student gathering area. “Nuts and bolts” renos like lighting, mechanical and electrical work will be part of the modernization as well. The school will be going green to some extent as well by installing solar panels.
The design phase of the project is expected to start in September and last 12-14 months. The total estimated time for completion of the project is 3 and a half years, including the design phase.
