St. Paul Students Make Living Flag

1,6000 students from St, Paul gathered to make a “living flag” on Wednesday.

The idea was first brought forward by Mayor Glenn Andersen as a way to celebrate Canada 150 and the 50th anniversary of the town’s trademark UFO landing pad. Local FCSS Director Lynn Smid coordinated the project along with  Michelle Duffy, Kim Ouellette & Janelle Mahe from the Parent Link program. Explore Surveys Inc. was responsible for getting everyone in the right spot. Altogether it took about 30 minutes to get the picture taken by Rikus Botha.

All the students who participated got a red or white shirt that they got to take home with them afterward.
