4 Wing Run Draws Large Crowd

This year’s 4 Wing Community Run proved to be another success, with over 600 people taking part.

The base offered a 5k, 10k – and for those who were really ambitious – half marathon that runners could join in. Everyone from little babies in strollers to grandparents joined in on the Saturday fun free of charge. In all, 169 people did the 5k race, 69 did the 10 and 32 went for the half marathon. 229 joined in the 5k walk as well. Another 100 or so people participated without registering.

Medals were presented to the winners in three different categories each for men and women in each of the three races. The winners are listed below.
