Hazards Abound on Iron Horse Trail

Those who plan to take a ride on the Iron Horse Trail are advised to use caution, as the wet spring has left a lot of hazards.

Those maintaining the trails are reporting a number of water issues. There is a culvert washout just east of Edouardville. There are three places where culverts are plugged and water is flowing over the trail; one between Cold Lake and the Beaver River Trestle, one at the Edouardville Staging Area and the other east of Range Road 90. There may be other sink holes and washouts.

If you come across any, report them to the trail at 1-877-645-4521. Several pictures of the problem areas are below.
