Cold Lake, Bonnyville and the MD have gotten together to look into regionalizing water service. They’re holding an open house tomorrow to share the results of a study they commissioned.
The public is invited to make their way to the Lakeland Inn in Cold Lake tomorrow at 9:30 to have a look at the results themselves. The proposed water line would see Cold Lake supply the town and MD of Bonnyville as well as the city it’s named after. Cold Lake is considered one of the best sources for tap water in the province and will likely be a major improvement over the water Bonnyvillers are used to.
