A large section of Plamondon including both schools and the arena is without water after a main broke yesterday evening.
County workers have isolated the water main at the intersection of Highway 858 and the Old Trail. Everybody south of that intersection is going to have dry taps until further notice. Ecole Plamondon will be closed tomorrow. Crews are on the scene trying to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
“We’ll keep people updated on Facebook and through our other news mediums as we can. We hope to get it fixed as soon as possible,” says communications officer with the county of Lac La Biche, Jihad Mograbhi.
The cause of the break remains unknown at this time.
