Another important step has been made in Bonnyville and Cold Lake’s journey towards a succesful 2018 Alberta Summer Games bid.
The judging panel who will decide the winning community went on a quick tour of the Lakeland’s proposed facilities. The committee behind the bid is confident with their chances, even without being able to include future upgrades in their pitch, like improvements to the Cold Lake Energy Centre. The final decision on who will host the games is expected to be announced in a few months.
